Dear Matt,
I am absolutely speachless. It's been so unfair for us all this time and just when I thought it couldnt get anymore worse it did. There are so many things I've wanted to tell you. There are so many more things I've wanted to share with you.
I know that we met for a reason. And us meeting the way we did happened for a reason too. I was looking so forward to seeing you in March and giving you a big hug and a kiss.... Us meeting filled the big void in both of our lives. We finally found each other, after all this time. I know that you were my soul mate and now you became a part of me.
I cant help but think of times of us talking about our future and what was ahead, how we were going to have a family someday and populate this world with little TBO's running around ! The only question I have is WHY WAS IT YOU? WHY WERE YOU TAKEN AWAY FROM ME SO SOON?
There's many more things that I want to say to you but I know that I will be talking to you. I can feel you being a part of me.
I know that when you passed you knew how much I cared about you. Although we never said the words I didnt even need to hear, I knew you always thought of me as your girlfriend. There have been so many times when I wanted to tell you this but couldnt and here it is... I love you.
Love always,
Alisa

The Final Inspection
e Police Officer stood and faced God,
Which must always come to pass.
He hoped his shoes were shining,
Just as brightly as his brass.
"Step forward now, you policeman,
How shall I deal with you?
Have you always turned the other cheek?
To My Church have you been true?"
The policeman squared his shoulders and said,
"No, Lord, I guess I ain't.
Because those of us who carry guns,
Can't always be a saint.
I've had to work most Sundays,
And at times my talk was tough.
And sometimes I've been violent,
Because the world is awfully rough.
But, I never took a penny,
That wasn't mine to keep...
Though I worked a lot of overtime,
When the bills got just too steep.
And I never passed a cry for help,
Though at times I shook with fear.
And sometimes, God, forgive me,
I've wept unmanly tears.
I know I don't deserve a place,
Among the people here.
They never wanted me around,
Except to calm their fears.
If you've a place for me here, Lord,
It needn't be so grand.
I never expected or had too much,
But if you don't, I'll understand."
There was a silence all around the throne,
Where the saints had often trod.
As the police officer waited quietly,
For the judgment of his God.
"Step forward now, you policeman,
You've borne your burdens well.
Walk peacefully on Heaven's streets,
You've done your time in Hell."

It was just a few hours ago when I got your last text. I still can't believe your gone my friend. I'm glad to have been blessed to have known even if it was such a brief time. A few nights ago when I was in so much pain from my accident you said God was looking out for me that night. You also said you weren't worried because God would guide you. I guess you knew he would take of you because now your in Heaven with him. You will always be with me my friend.

Another honorable brother has joined our brothers and sisters in God's Police Department in heaven. Brother Matthew your service to your department and the citizens in your community will not be forgotten and you will be dearly missed by all your brothers and sisters left behind. I ask that our heavenly Father be with all your family during this time of greif and mourning your loss. As they gather with your brothers and sisters in the badge let them reflect on all the great services you have given to your community and it;s citizens. Let God's comforting arms of love and peace surround them throughout this period. Rest in peace brother. You will never be forgotten.

To the family, friends, and officers that knew Officer Thebeau, my thoughts and prayers are with you as you face the trying times ahead of you. Please know your not alone.
Here I am, lost in the light of the moon that comes through my window
Bathed in blue, the walls of my memory divide the thorns from the roses
It's you and the roses
Touch me and I will follow in your afterglow
Heal me from all this sorrow
As I let you go I will find my way when I see your eyes
Now I'm living in your afterglow
Here I am, lost in the ashes of time, but who wants tomorrow?
In between the longing to hold you again
I'm caught in your shadow, I'm losing control
My mind drifts away, we only have today
Touch me and I will follow in your afterglow
Heal me from all this sorrow
As I let you go I will find my way
I will sacrifice 'til the blinding day when I see your eyes
Now I'm living in your afterglow
When the veils are gone as I let you go, as I let you go
Touch me and I will follow in your afterglow
Heal me from all this sorrow
As I let you go I will find my way, I will sacrifice
Now I'm living in your afterglow
Bathed in blue, the walls of my memory divide the thorns from the roses
It's you who is closest
