I learned so much from you. My prayers go out to you and your family. I remember the arguments in roll call, but you would get the last word. Your were a great officer. I will never forget you backing me on calls and me showing up on your calls. Things are not going to be the same around here. You are missed so much.

You were one of the funniest guys I ever met. That's the first thing that comes to my mind when I think of you. Many people didn't know that we had gone through Army training together years before we wound up in the same academy. It truly is a small world, and I am so thankful to have known you.
Since I left the department, every time something happens to one of my DeKalb County brothers or sisters, deep down I feel like I should have been there to back you up. That feeling has never hit me harder than it has this time.
