DS Pursifull,

As I read your memorial, I take special interest in the photo provided because I saw the complete pictures in a news clip on the internet. You are lovingly looking down on two gorgeous kids who are donning your hat. Beautiful girls who I will assume are your children. My heart aches for them.

I cannot find the words to express the sorrow I feel for your loved ones. I am sickened by this tragedy. Outraged by the actions of those ruthless selfish creatures. They will face our justice system and God willing, never again see the light of day.

I find some peace knowing that King remains at your side, continuing his watch. He is your eyes and ears, your protector, your partner and the very best friend an Officer could ask for. I find some comfort knowing that you are together. You and your GSD....TRUE HEROS in every sense of the word.

I am deeply sorry that your loved ones, both your immediate family and your police family must endure this undescribable pain. Take care of each other. You will be in my prayers.

I arrived to work a few days ago only to learn of Seans passing which left me with a heavy heart. I attended basic training, Class 270, with Sean and we roomed next door to one another. His family, friends, community and fellow officers, truly lost a great man. Take comfort in knowing that he is watching over all of you.
Rest in peace buddy.

Its hard to know what to say after seeing this story. Both you and your K-9 partner were killed trying to protect your county from evil. Sometimes evil wears a younger face but it don't change the fact that the act was evil. I hope with all my heart that the Lord lifts your family and your co-workers up and somehow gets them through this tradgic event. May you and King play without worry in the streets of Heaven and may your killers who made this choice pay the ultimate sacrifice.

Here it is, another new year and already 5 officers down doing thier job to the best of thier ability. Two juveniles who should be hung, may not even get the death penalty for thier crimes and could possibly "walk" after serving small sentences.
It's always sad to read about a new fallen hero, but as long as officers are out there ridding the streets of human garbage, officers will also die in the line of duty.

I am at a loss for words at the moment. It seems I have written alot of reflections lately and it is a shame. This was another terrible loss and tragic death of a fine police officer, actually 2, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to leave King out. I know you are both walking the streets of Heaven and watching over all of us from there, but the pain is still here. Rest in Peace Sean and King.

Deputy Pursifull and King,
Thank you so much for your service, both of you will always be remembered. When I learned of your death from a family member [a Deputy in Kentucky]it brought great saddness. I've read 8 pages of reflections from your brother's and sister's from all around the United States; all that will miss you very much. Our Law Enforcement family has taken another very deep cut at the moment you and King was taken from us. You carried the Blue light as a hero and you will always remain a hero. Your brother's and sister's cuts never heal, but we will make you a promise: we will continue to carry the torch and will do the best we can to burn all evil in our path as we protect the sheep in the fields of this great nation. God Bless You.

Deputy Pursifull an Deputy K-9 King:

You served in life and went together in death. May and King rest in peace with the distinguished honor that YOU BOTH deserve. Fidelas ad Mortem..."Faithful unto Death."

May the wastes of flesh and blood did this, be tried as a adults. And I can only hope that KY has the death penalty.

You and King can take the heroes walk, as you are partners now for eternity.

Deputy Pursifull,
My heart breaks for your family for I know the pain they are going through. I pray the Lord will wrap his loving arms around them and carry them through the days ahead. I'm sorry King's life was taken too but at the same time it would be so sad for him to live & have to mourn for you. Like someone else said, Heaven will be more fun because of having King with you. Thank you sir for the service that you & your faithful partner KING gave, may you rest in peace and enjoy playing together in heaven. God bless you!
