It is a shame that this young hero lost his life to a person(animal) with a much greater caliber weapon.

I live in Glendale, AZ. with my wife of 28 years. As a Taxpayer we are extremly greatful that this young man was there in Florida to Protect and Serve. His impact to resolve crime is heard in Arizona. His actions reflect what Pride, Integrity and Guts it takes to serve a nation whom has criminals out power the Police Deptarments. God Bless the family always, and the Police Chief whom will never forget.

the ability to act, knowing what the outcome will be, to save the lives of others;
to sense death and proceed, nonetheless;
outgunned, outmanned, and outnumbered, and still fulfilled his duty, unselfishly...

detective walker is the epitome of heroism, bravery and nobility. a truly remarkable deed...

You weren't on duty. You weren't getting paid. You just saw lives in danger, and you reacted. Don't worry now. There are thousands of us out there each day that have devoted our lives to helping others. The world is a better place because you were in it.

May God bless your soul.
