To all the members of the Maryland Transportation Authority go our prayers and thoughts. To the children and family members as well as his fiance , go our prayers and thoughts. He served his country and his community, and now he joins the heavenly forces to watch over us all. He is in your heart and he will always be a part of you and with you. Rest in peace brother.

I drove by the scene of the accident just minutes before it took place. I breathed a prayer for my husband who was working last night and for all his fellow officers; it is so difficult to understand why the Lord would allow something like this to happen.
To his fiancee, family and fellow officers - you are in my thoughts and prayers. It is impossible to understand why. I pray that you will be comforted by the law enforcement community during this tragic time. We all mourn with you, and I pray that in time you will be at peace knowing that he died doing something honorable.
His legacy of courage and compassion will live on. He is gone but NEVER forgotten.
