It's foolish and wrong to mourn the men who died. Rather we should thank God that such men lived.

God bless you brother. Thank you for your service. We will take the torch from here....

Another Officer has fallen, Lord, You must have had a very special reason for needing him now, which is unknown to us. Detective Haws is now standing his watch in Your Kingdom. He watches and now protects ALL of us. God bless you Detective Haws, and thank you for all your time of service and God bless your family for allowing you to serve. Dear Lord take care of him, for he is special and you now have another fine Officer.

God rest, Detective Haws. As a former Tulare County resident and the sister of a detective in a nearby jurisdiction, this really hits home. I pray for your family and for all of the peace officers out there trying to keep our communities safe.

Words can't describe the loss of such a great man and friend. It was my privilege and honor to know you as such (really a brother) for the past 20 years. You were always there when needed and this was only a part of the great friend you were. It's a sad, tragic day losing you. The world needs more men like you in it, not taken away. God in his ultimate wisdom has his reasons and must need one of his finest souls beside him. You'll never be forgotten and always missed! My deepest, heartfelt condolences to your wife and boys (whom i only leave unnamed out of respect for their privacy) and i promise you bro i'll be there as much as i can for them. God bless you buddy!
