Hello my brother. This is the only way I'll ever get to meet you until the next life. I've searched for you for 15 years. To learn about you through an obituary. Your birth family loves you very much always has I wish we had known you when you were alive. I watched all the videos and seen all the pictures of you. Makes me proud to know that my brother was a hero. I love you

This is the day you joined the ranks of officers in heaven. I remember getting the call that your mother needed someone that understood the walk of grief. I sat with your mom. I learned so much that day and subsequent days. I'm praying for your family today especially your mom as I do know her pain. Heroes are never forgotten!

I just read that your killer received life without possibility of parole. As there had been a finding that he was ineligible for the death penalty, I am thankful that he received the maximum sentence allowed athough I personally agree with the reported sentiments of your wife.
Until the trial occurred, the criminal proceedings had a stranglehold on your family's life and I am glad that part is over. Five years is a long time to wait for justice.
I continue to honor your service and sacrifice and pray for the solace of your family and agency.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the fourth anniversary year of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
I pray for solace for all those who miss and remember you for I know both the pain and pride are forever.

Hey Kent,
I really can't believe it has been almost 4 years since we lost you...
There have been many Jack Daniels toasts to you, brother and you remain forever in our hearts. Trying to keep that last DSA Christmas Party as our final memory of you and the fun we had.
Be at peace, all is well, good job done..

This morning around 2 am the sheriffs department did their B.O.L for Santa...this year was different because they named Sgt. Hernadez, You, Elium, and some other people I don't remember off hand. It was really neat. Thank you again for serving this community. You made a huge impact where ever you went.
