Reflections for Police Officer William Eric Freeman

As is often said it is not how this officer died but how he lived that made him a hero. Rest in Peace my Brother. God be with your wife and children in this time of sorrow. You join an honorable group with God. Keep the streets of heaven safe .

Please accept my most sincere condolences and prayers for the family, friends, and fellow officers of Officer Freeman.
Officer Freeman, I prayed for you to live. God must have more important things for you to do. I just want you to know that the job you did was so important and I do appreciate when an officer lets me know I was speeding, or that my brake light is out. You help keep order in chaos, and people safe, like on a rainy night when you stand out in the middle of a four way stop directing traffic because the lights are out.
God Bless you and your family.

Eric-

We just go to work and do a job that not a lot of people would. Just want to go home to our families like everyone else, yet the badge we proudly wear to protect our communities becomes a target. They will shoot and kill us as we try to make a living for our family, senseless. Then they wonder why we act the way we sometimes do.

The thin blue line just got thinner, losing another officer. GOD bless brother.

Heartbroken. Christ Jesus specifically commands us to care for widows and orphans. We will take care of your family, as best we are capable, in His holy name. May our loving God rest you, and help your devestated family to one day smile again. Know how much the families of all HPD officers are grieving.
Thank you Officer Freeman, and be at peace.

What a tragedy that a DUI suspect chose to take your life. I've never let a DUI go, and never will. I pray your family finds consolation in the fact that you died doing a job you loved.

TEARS FOR A LOST TROOPER
He was willing to be hurt or killed for someone he did'nt even know..
He was not always sure why they are dying but they are..
Could a normal traffic stop be the last thing you do in life..
You never think about it, till it's to late, you lay there losing your life..
Your friends and co-workers stand arround you, trying to help you..
You know they are doing their best but it is not enough..
As things grow dark you think of all your bad and good moments in life..
You hear them say "hold on the EMS is on the way they will be here in a few minutes"..
But you know that will not be good enough, they are going to be to late, to save your life..
You try to tell them don't cry, you will be alright you are going to a better place, where you can't die..
If you must cry, let it only be a little, you don't want them hurting..
You know the end is here, as you try to tell your friends and co-workers goodbye, on the dark shoulder of the express way, but you can't say the words..
As things go dark you prepare yourself for the end of your life..
As a single tear falls down your cheek, as your only way to say goodbye to your friends, co-workers and family..

My prayers are with your family, you were a great man and i will miss you, thank you for all the times you helped me when i needed it..I will never forget you..

We watched the news praying you would pull through. Then woke up this morning. Though I am not a brother in blue I feel a loss. I will never forget you. I pray for your family. Rest in peace brother.
