Time may have passed but you are not forgotten. I believe as long as someone remembers you or speaks your name, you are still with us.
Thank you for your heroism.
God Bless

Rest in Peace, Patrolman Blackwell. Your sacrifice is not forgotten.
Officer 11169

Your heroism and service is honored today as we approach the 104th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service.
My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer. He was shot twice when ambushed on April 23rd when he was on a foot pursuit of two bank robbers, 100 years after you were killed.
Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered.
Rest In Peace.

mother of fallen officer Larry Lasater

No Officer's life should be taken for granted or forgotten. My recruits are learning about Traffic Control today. They will learn about you today as well. I hope you will be looking over their shoulders.
