This was a tragic accident, nothing more. I hope the citizens and the government officials of this law enforcement agency do not make this a which hunt. Put it in it's proper place and prosecute the people responsible. The person being persued is at fault....let the wheels of the law turn and do their job.

The Second Degree Murder of law enforcement officers in the line of duty. There is no other punishment than life in prison.

PBCSO....all of you, hold your heads up. You are all heroes. You stepped up...you served...you protected...all gave some...some gave all. We grieve with you.

Prayers to all of you and your families.

Jonathan and Donta,

Words can’t express the sorrow and emptiness that I felt when I heard you both were gone. From the moment I walked into District 5 as a Cadet, Donta you were an inspiration to me. Very few had the strength and determination you had.

Johnathan, while I never had the opportunity to know you, from what I hear, you were a great Law Enforcement Officer. Thank you both very much for your service and always know you will not be forgotten. Rest well, we’ll take it from here.
