To fully appreciate the heroes of the present, we must recognize our heroes of the past. Your heroism and service is honored today, the 49th anniversary year of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered. Rest In Peace.

Chief Myers,

Although your service and ultimate sacrifice occurred long before my time Dublin Borough Officers have never missed participating in the annual Memorial Service held in honor of you and all the other fallen Bucks County Pa. Officers. In May 2007 I discovered that your name was not listed on the National Law Enforcement Memorial Wall in Washington D.C. I appologize for not knowing this sooner. I made it a priority to ensure your name be added and you get the recognition you deserve. It is long overdue, but On May 13th 2008 your name will added to the National Law Enforcement Memorial Wall. It has been both a privilege and an honor, and one of the highest points in my career for me to make sure you were forever memorialized.

R.I.P. Chief Myers from all past, present, and future Dublin Borough Police Officers. You will never be forgotten.
