"What we have done for ourselves alone dies with us; what we have done for others and the world remains and is immortal."
As Trooper Linn now patrols with God's immortal police force, by his actions here on earth he has taken his well deserved place in the rolls of our honored heroes, whose names will live forever.
I honor Trooper Brian W. Linn's life and salute him in death.

When Tomorrow Starts Without Me
When tomorrow starts without me, and I"m not there to see,
If the sun should rise and find your eyes all filled with tears for me,
I wish so much you wouldn't cry the way you did today,
While thinking of the many things we didn't get to say.
I know how much you love me, as much as I love you,
And each time that you think of me, I know you'll miss me to;
But when tomorrow starts without me, please try to understand
That an angel came and called my name, and took me by the hand,
And said my place was ready, in heaven far above,
And that I'd have to leave behind all those I dearly love.
But as I turned to walk away, a tear fell from my eye,
For all life, I'd always thought, I didn't want to die.
I had to much to live for, so much yet to do,
It seemed almost impossible that I was leaving you.
So when tomorrow starts without me, don't think we're far apart,
For every time you think of me, I'm right here, in your heart.

I wrote this 8/14/07, Rest in Peace Trooper Linn, you paid the ultimate sacrifice. My heart and prayers are with your family and the WVSP family will watch over them.
There are so many things I can tell you
About being a law enforcement officer's wife
But will any of it really matter to you
Until the day he lays down his life
I don't think about the many "what if's"
But Instead I am very thankful for each day I'm given
I cherish it and carry each memory dearly in my heart
As I raise my tear filled eyes thankfully to heaven
We share our officer with you unselfishly
Our families always ready to sacrifice
The many special days you take for granted
And some may even pay the ultimate price
It's not just a cop standing there
So please remember this the next time
You're pulled over, questioned, or asking for help
The officer who's standing there is a son, father, brother, husband, he's mine.
