My prayers and blessings go out to your family Adrian, they also go out to your Brothers and Sisters of the Calexico P.D.. Though our Heavenly Father has called you home, you will be deeply missed here. But don't you worry my son, your family will be ok with our Lords help and your brothers and sisters in blue will take on your watch here on earth. You need only rest now and look back on all the good you did as a Police Officer, all the people you helped and saved. You now take on the job of being on watch in heaven, it's an easy tour but it's your most important tour of duty. When the time is right, we will all be reunited in heaven. God Bless all who wear the Uniform.

God Bless this officer, may he rest in peace.
Reality
Imagine how our world would be
If every police officer quit
Turned in their gun, turned in their badge,
Just finally had enough of it.
No respect, no loyalty,
No appreciation of all they do,
They’d give their lives for all of us,
These wonderful officers of “Blue”.
Kicked at, spit on,
Punched, stabbed and shot,
Everyday assaults on officers,
Done…without thinking a second thought!
Our laws are in favor of criminals,
There’s always some loophole in their case,
Out again to commit more crimes and murders
…creates pain, that we, the family and friends
…in time will never erase.
Why should they do it?
Why take the risk?
Why put their life on the line?
Subject their loved ones to endless suffering,
When their precious life is lost while fighting crime.
More murders, more kidnappings, more robberies and rapes,
Just to mention a few,
Please ask yourself how life would be,
If there were NO officers in Blue!
Would you do it? Could you do it?
And for how many…would YOU give it all?
Rewards are a 21 gun salute, a Medal of Honor,
And your name gets added to the Wall.
Think about it. Why are they here?
And why do some hate them so?
Because they enforce the laws that put convicts and murderers
In jail serving time, or on “Death Row”.
All give some and some give all,
It’s a risk they chose to take:
To put their heart and soul in it,
To put their lives at stake.
So, please take a moment,
Please give it deep thought,
Think of what “you can do”…
To help show respect,
To help follow the laws,
So we’d quit losing our Heroes in Blue!

"If you find it in your heart to care for somebody else, you will have succeeded." -- Maya Angelou
Aloha Police Officer Adrian Castro Cordova,
Thank you for your service and dedication to your community and your country. You and all officers that continue to lay your lives on the line and pay the ultimate sacrifice to keep our communities and country safe, will NEVER be forgotten.
I believe in the ODMP and Police*Link that visionary and Founder Chris Cosgriff created. There is power in the written and spoken word, in prayer, in what is felt in the heart, and in the soul. Every tribute left in honor for a fallen officer, is a candle lit. Every candle lit, lights another.
Every light represents a reflection left by an individual in the form of a tribute which is and always will be, very personal and special to the fallen hero it was left to honor, and to thousands who will read it. Here we are able to come together and build a quilt for our fallen hero. A quilt built from people who share from their hearts in reflections; tributes.
Police Officer Adrian Castro Cordova,
I wish you, your loved ones, and your fellow officers peace and love beyond all understanding. Aloha.
**May all who read this tribute find comfort in this Hawaiian prayer left in this hero's honor. You will NEVER be forgotten. May God allow you to rest in His eternal peace.**
THE PEACE OF " I "
KA MALUHIA O KA "I"
Peace be with you, All My Peace,
O ka Maluhia no me oe, Ku'u Maluhia a pau loa,
The Peace that is " I ", the Peace that is "I am".

The Peace for always, now and forever and evermore.

My Peace " I " give to you, My Peace " I " leave with you,
Ha'awi aku wau I ku'u Maluhia ia oe, waiho aku wau I ku'u Maluhia me oe,
Not the world's Peace, but, only My Peace,
The Peace of " I ".

So young, so incredibly sad.. Officer Castro Cordova, you are about the age I was when I became a sworn officer for the federal government, 23 years ago. My heart goes out to all who loved you, I know for all we go through to get these positions, you had to love the job to survive basic training. So bless you for the time you served. An ancient saying I remember hearing was: "The Gods do not fully reveal the glory of heaven, for to do so would make our time on Earth waiting for it, simply unbearable". Enjoy the glory, the peace, the love. And may comfort come to all who love you. Sending prayers your way, from Michigan.
