The thin blue line got a little thinner today. Thank you for your service and watch over those that still walk the beat.

I am saddened by the loss of another officer. I feel that there are far too many individuals who do not give the respect to the local men in women in uniform. The lack of respect for that of a human life is a sad reality. I prayed for you last night and awoke to this nightmare. I feel the pain of your loved ones left behind. Officer Cassidy, I do not know you but I respect you. I will continue to pray for your family and keep you in my prayers. There is a literal manhunt out for your cold blooded killer. Your fellow officers will not rest until he is found. God bless you officer Charles Cassidy, for helping out in making the streets a safer place for all of us.

My thoughts are with your family officer Cassidy. I wonder when society will realize the importance of our law enforcement and assure that these violent offenders are locked up tight so they can never offend again...never leave another mother or father crying for their child, a spouse grieving for their missing half or children crying out for their parent. Thank you for giving everything you had so that others may live a little more peaceful

To our fallen officers
You have done your duty
Kept all safe from harm’s way
Until that fateful day
When you were taken away
From your family,friends,fellow officers
And the communities,in which you
Swore “To Serve & Protect”
Your watch is now over
May you rest with your
Brother & Sister Officers
Whom have sworn the same before you
Time is now for us to take the watch
As you stand on The Almighty’s right side
May all of you watch & protect us from harm’s way
Rest in Peace my Fellow Officer
You will always be forever in our hearts
