Aloha Police Officer Charles Cassidy,
Thank you for your service and dedication to your community and your country. You and all officers that continue to lay your lives on the line and pay the ultimate sacrifice to keep our communities and country safe, will NEVER be forgotten.
I believe in the ODMP and Police*Link that visionary and Founder Chris Cosgriff created. There is power in the written and spoken word, in prayer, in what is felt in the heart, and in the soul. Every tribute left in honor for a fallen officer, is a candle lit. Every candle lit, lights another.
Every light represents a reflection left by an individual in the form of a tribute which is and always will be, very personal and special to the fallen hero it was left to honor, and to thousands who will read it. Here we are able to come together and build a quilt for our fallen hero. A quilt built from people who share from their hearts in reflections; tributes.
Police Officer Charles Cassidy,
I wish you, your loved ones, and your fellow officers peace and love beyond all understanding. Aloha.
**May all who read this tribute find comfort in this Hawaiian prayer left in this hero's honor. You will NEVER be forgotten. May God allow you to rest in His eternal peace.**
THE PEACE OF " I "
KA MALUHIA O KA "I"
Peace be with you, All My Peace,
O ka Maluhia no me oe, Ku'u Maluhia a pau loa,
The Peace that is " I ", the Peace that is "I am".
Ka Maluhia o ka "I", owau no ka Maluhia,
The Peace for always, now and forever and evermore.
Ka Maluhia no na wa a pau, no ke'ia wa a mau a mau loa aku.
My Peace " I " give to you, My Peace " I " leave with you,
Ha'awi aku wau I ku'u Maluhia ia oe, waiho aku wau I ku'u Maluhia me oe,
Not the world's Peace, but, only My Peace,
The Peace of " I ".
A'ole ka Maluhia o ke ao aka, ka'u Maluhia wale no,
Ka Maluhia o ka "I".

Even when every day of my life I preach about our Father calling his children home ,and knowing that no matter how one dies he/she will be with GOD. It makes my cry each and every single time a Sister or Brother in Blue dies in the hands of one committing a crime. Charles, thought you and I never met in life I can't wait to meet you up in Heaven. You can rest now my son, for your brothers and sisters will now take over your watch here on earth. You just enjoy your new tour of duty of walking the streets of heaven, where all is good.
To Charles's Family, be strong he is in a better place for he has now met his maker. To the Men and Women of the Phil. P.D. stay strong, stay on track for your brother is now at rest. Now the people of Philly turn to you to stop this killer, bring him to justice, and to keep all people safe from him and any others. God Bless you all, My Prayers and thoughts will be with each and every one of you.

God Bless You Officer Cassidy, I was following the story behind this un-acceptable crime commited against you, and our society. Officer Cassidy, I was praying to God that I would not have to write this.....but his need for you is understanding. He knows all to well what a great person you will be in his Kingdom...Sir my hear is truly wounded from your being taken from our society and the now ever more thin blue line.....
Please watch over us all from up there....but most of all rest..you so well deserve it after 25 years of service to our society. God speed Brother...God Speed!!!!!!!!!
