Reflections for Police Officer Charles Edward Cassidy
I use to work for a private ambulance company out of the Northeast ... It is truely sad to have heard of this incident. I'll keep all of the PPD, your friends and family in my prayers. I know that the coward that did this will be caught, for many of your brothers and sisters will work with the same dedication they say you had ... For you inspired them to be the Finest examples Philadelphia Law Enforcement.

I offer my most sincere condolences...to the wife and children of Officer Cassidy...as well as...to his extended family...friends...and fellow officers.
Today is All Souls Day...and yesterday was All Saint's Day...and in the midst of these two very special feast days...I believe...that God must have welcomed Officer Cassidy home...with open arms.
May God's perpetual light...shine upon the soul of Officer Charles Cassidy...and may he rest in His eternal peace... for having made the ultimate sacrifice...in protecting and serving his community...for so many years.
I am sorry that this family will have to continue on without their loved ones physical presence...but he will always be just a thought...memory...or heartbeat away...he is not lost to you...he is with God...and someday you all will be reunited again.
I pray...that God gives this family...the graces needed...in coping with their grief...during this most sad...and difficult time.
May God bless you and your loved one.
With my deepest sympathy,
Anita L. Culosi

Officer Cassidy was a hero in the truest sense of the word. Our police are our blue angels and they are the only thing that stands between evil and us. They are our protectors and there isn't enough money that these people can be paid for putting their lives on the line every time they go to work. My prayers are that Officer Cassidy is now one of God's police officers looking down and watching over his family. And I pray that the Lord watches over and brings peace to Officer's Cassidy family.May God be with the Cassidy family.
