Officer Cassidy went to work on October 31 not knowing what was going to happen, as many officers do. He made the ultimate sacrifice, as many officers do. He is seen as a hero in my eyes, and in the eyes of many others. God bless him and his family.

May the lord look over your family, friends and brothers and sisters in the Police Department in this time. I've never seen so many officers searching for a suspect as they have with the man who selfishly took you from this life - he will be found. God Bless you Officer Cassidy and thank you for all you've done to help keep the city safe.
