My heartfelt condolenses and prayers go out to loved ones of Brian. Please have comfort in knowing that he was doing what he was born to do and know rests in the arms of our Lord and Savior. Although his life was cut short performing his sworn duty to his community and countrty his memories will live on in the influence and impact that he made in and on the communities in which he lived, loved and served. The contributions he made in the lives of others will never die.

You will be sadly missed Brian, by me and my family. You were a good man, and can't believe your time is up. You were too young to do something like this. I don't know why God wanted you but I'm sure there is some reason why he did. If their is at least one thing about you, it is that you always were friendly to whomever you met. No matter who they were, and you always had a positive outlook on things in life.
R.I.P. Brian.

To the family, friends, and officers that knew Trroper McMillen, my thoughts and prayers are with you as you face the trying times ahead of you. Please know your not alone.
Here I am, lost in the light of the moon that comes through my window
Bathed in blue, the walls of my memory divide the thorns from the roses
It's you and the roses
Touch me and I will follow in your afterglow
Heal me from all this sorrow
As I let you go I will find my way when I see your eyes
Now I'm living in your afterglow
Here I am, lost in the ashes of time, but who wants tomorrow?
In between the longing to hold you again
I'm caught in your shadow, I'm losing control
My mind drifts away, we only have today
Touch me and I will follow in your afterglow
Heal me from all this sorrow
As I let you go I will find my way
I will sacrifice 'til the blinding day when I see your eyes
Now I'm living in your afterglow
When the veils are gone as I let you go, as I let you go
Touch me and I will follow in your afterglow
Heal me from all this sorrow
As I let you go I will find my way, I will sacrifice
Now I'm living in your afterglow
Bathed in blue, the walls of my memory divide the thorns from the roses
It's you who is closest

My deepest sympathy goes out to the family, friends, and coworkers of Trooper McMillen. When I saw this report on the local news it immediately caught my attention since it was almost a repeat of what happened to my father in 2004. May God be with you through each step of the healing process.

I was touched by your Brother Trooper's words, "You can shed tears that Brian is gone, or you can smile that he has lived....." Those words are so true. May your family and friends make it through one day at time as they lean on each other for support. May God have mercy on those impaired drivers. Thank you for your service. Rest in peace, sir.

I actually met Brian in high school, but new of him and his family before this time from church. To me Brian was one of the few.......very popular, but at the same time was the nicest person you'd ever meet! Very kind and caring! He has a wonderful family, and I'm sure that's why he turned out to be the person he grew to be! So to Brian....U will be missed, R.I.P,and God speed! To the McMillen and extended family...My thoughts and prayers are with you! We will all remember Brian for the rest of our lives, not only for his accomplishments, but also just for the great person he was! Forever in our hearts!!!!!
