I first met Tate Lynch when he came to Trinity my Junior Year of High School.
The thing I remember the most about him is he truly genuinely cared about
people. He was always smiling and trying to encourage and help people. He was
truly a great Man of God and will be remembered forever.

I DIDN'T OFFICIALLY GET TO WORK WITH TATE BECAUSE I WAS INJURED DURING THE ACADEMY AND LEFT TO HAVE SURGERY. I DID KNOW HIS NEPHEW FROM THE SAME ACADEMY CLASS AND HEARD GREAT STORIES ABOUT TATE AND HIS FAMILY. WHEN I WOULD COME INTO THE STATION TO PICK EQUIPMENT UP OR GET GAS TATE WAS ALWAYS THE FRIENDLY FACE. HE WOULD REACH OUT AND SHAKE A HAND AND ALWAYS ASK HOW HE COULD HELP. I DIDN'T FEEL WELCOMED IN THE POLICE FAMILY IN CASA GRANDE BUT TATE WAS A TRUE EXAMPLE OF A CHRISTIAN FAMILY MAN AND AN DEVOTED OFFICER. I WISH I COULD HAVE KNOWN HIM BETTER, I KNOW HE WOULD HAVE HAD A POSITIVE IMPACT ON MY CAREER. GOD BLESS YOU TATE I KNOW YOU WILL BE MISSED BY ALL.

Tate,
Words can't describe the pain and sorrow Robin and I felt when we heard about your death. You were a true friend and an inspiration to me personally. You probably never knew how much our talks about the job meant to me. Real cops aren't made, they are born. You were born to stand behind the gun and badge. Thanks for everything.

Rest easy Blue Warrior, for you now serve a Higher Command. We'll take it from here. Know we'll keep watch over yours, as you kept watch over ours. See you soon.
