Reflections for Deputy Constable Jason Norling
Jason, we have never met, my brother-in-law just left me a voice mail today telling me of your untimely death. He works along side you and I knew from his voice that something terrible had happened. The thin blue line has become brighter today because of your sacrifice. Thank you my brother for your service, you will not be forgotten. May the wings of St. Michael embrace you tight as you find your way to heavens gate. To Deputy Escobar and all the Deputy Constables of Precinct 5, I salute you and send my sincere condolences to you and Jason's family.

I helped break Jason in when he came to the Toll Road the first time. He had a lot of knowledge about this crazy job we do, and was even able to show me a few tricks.
Jason was one heck of an officer. He took a lot of ribbing from the guys and I never saw it get to him. I'm gonna miss hearing him S.O. in the morning and I'm going to miss "Hey Peanut, what's up?" every time I saw him.
Precinct 5 and the Toll Road won't be the same without you bro.

The last time i spoke to you was July 4th 2006, You came over to my district and assisted me in leading a 4th of July parade. We spoke about our families for over an hour and i got to know alot about you in that short period of time. Even know i did not know you very well, it hurt my heart when i found out about your passing. You were a good man and a great officer.
May god bless your soul Deputy Jason Norling, Rest in Peace.
