It is knowing that those responsible will be brought to justice that we can all feel some relief from the pain that we all feel. One cop doesn't have to meet another cop to have the feeling of loss. That loss to the Revere PD and the City of Revere is just as much a loss to us all. Another gap has been created in that thin blue line, but, though that gap will be filled, the void never will.
God Bless and may you Rest in Peace, Brother.

Officer Talbot, may you rest in peace with the angels. Only god takes the best and he obvioulsy need you to take on a task for him that you and only you can do. God bless your family and your beautiful fiance' Connie. I know in my heart that you are looking down on her. Although I did not know you, your death has really affected me, and I am not sure if it is because my brother is a police officer, or if it is because you and I are so close in age, the fact that you had your whole life ahead of you, and were due to be married to the love of your life, I guess it is a combination of all of those things. I wish I had known you because you obviously were one in a million, the ultimate friend, the ultimate hero, and now you are the ultimate angel. May god bless you, and I ask that you look out for all your men in blue.

If tomorrow starts without me, and I'm not there to see.
If the sun should rise and find your eyes all filled with tears for me
I wish so much you wouldn't cry the way you did today. While thinking of the many things we didn't get to say.
I know how much you love me, As much as I love you, and each time that you think of me, I know you'll miss me too;
But when tomorrow starts without me, Please try to understand, that an angel came and called my name, And took me by the hand
And said my place was ready, in heaven far above, And that I'd have to leave behind all those I dearly love.
But as I turned to walk away, A tear fell from my eye, For all my life, I'd always thought, I didn't want to die.
I had so much to live for, So much left yet to do, it seemed almost impossible, that I was leaving you.
If I could relive yesterday, just even for a while, I'd say good-bye and kiss you and maybe see you smile.
But then I fully realized, that this could never be, for emptiness and memories, would take the place of me.
And when I thought of worldly things, I might miss come tomorrow, I thought of you, and when I did, my heart was filled with sorrow.
But when I walked through heaven's gates, I felt so much at home. When God looked down and smiled at me, From His great golden throne,
He said, "This is eternity, and all I've promised you." Today your life on earth is past, but here life starts anew.
I promise no tomorrow, but today will always last, and since each day is the same way, there's no longing for the past.
You have been so faithful, so trusting and so true. Though there were times you did some things, you knew you shouldn't do.
But you have been forgiven, and now at last you're free. So won't you come and take my hand, and share my life with me
So when tomorrow starts without me, don't think we're far apart, for every time you think of me, I'm right here, in your heart...
To all of Daniel's family and friends. We grieve with you and are angered by this shameless act of cowardice by the suspects. I pray for all of you to someday smile more and cry a little less when you think of him.
As for the people who caused this officer's death...I don't know if Massachusetts has the death penalty, but I can't think of anyone who deserves it more than you.

The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want,
His comforting hand reduces fear to naught;
He makes me walk through streets of crime,
But He gives me courage and peace of mind.
He leads me by still waters in the path I trod,
And He says in Romans I'm a "minister of God,"
He leads me in righteousness as He restores my soul,
For His name's sake He keeps me whole.
When I walk through death's valley, right up to the door,
I will fear no evil, for He comforts me more;
For Thou art with me every step of the way,
As thy rod and thy staff protect me each day.
He prepares a table, especially for me,
As I work daily among life's enemies;
He gives me authority to uphold the law,
And He anoints my position in the midst of it all.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me,
Each day of my life through eternity;
As I long to hear Him say, "Well done . . . ,"
When I lay down my life, my badge, and my gun
