I'd like to express my condolences to the family of this officer who was murdered doing a job so many of us have chosen to do. We lost an officer and I lost a friend less than a year ago to an illegal alien felon with a gun. I pray that this officer's loss will not be in vain. God bless you Officer Erfle and may he bring your family peace.

Nick, our families were close as we grew up on the farms. We all admired you as you won that brave and victorious fight with cancer. We all admire your family, your brothers and sisters and how close you all are. Now that you have been reunited with your Mom and Dad, we know that the three of you are watching us grieve. As the pain in our hearts gradually lessons with time, our memories and love for you never cease. Gods speed my friend.
