Family, Friends & Fellow Officers Remember...

Hey Dave;

As you already know, you're a hero. You wouldn't believe how many people love you and came out when your tragedy occurred. Even though many mourn, I celebrate, not because of your passing on earth, but because you are starting a new life and shift with HIM. Your life will be so much better and HE will see that you have been a faithful servant and HE will reward you with everlasting life. I will be at your service honoring you by participating in the Honor Guard. You just enjoy yourself up in Heaven and watch our backs as we continue to try to be as good as you. Tell all the other fallen Heroes that they are not forgotten.

Outstanding Officer!!! I am new to the Department and had the privilege of meeting Dave during training. He went out of his way to ensure the training was a success so that the new officers would be better able to handle situations that may arise. Words can not express the sadness I felt when I heard of your passing, it initially did not sink in until I had to tell my Wife of what had happended to you. I can not beleive that I had just talked to you the day before about motorcycles, and how you said that you thought you had cleared up all of the lobby calls for the day (due to it being so busy). I will miss you Dave, and will never forget you, and I truly no you are one of the good ones.
