May you see God's light on the path ahead
When the road you walk is dark.
May you always hear,
Even in your hour of sorrow,
The gentle singing of the lark.
When times are hard may hardness
Never turn your heart to stone,
May you always remember
when the shadows fall—
You do not walk alone.

My sincerest condolences to the family, friends and co-workers of Corporal Jones and my humble thanks for his protection and service.

Although I did not know Cpl Jones personally it does not make the situation any easier to deal with. Today we have lost a hero in West Texas and he will forever be missed.
My prayers and sympathy go out to all those involved in the tragedy and may justice be served on the man who caused such pain.

As a Police Officers wife this is a call I pray never comes. Each day these officers respond to calls that we all, myself included, take for granted. There are no such things as routine calls especially when dealing with domestic violence. For the family, friends and loved ones of these officers our prayers are with you daily. For the citizens of Odessa don't let these officers memories fade. It could have been you they died for. Rest Well Brothers in Blue.We have your watch now.

It is with great sadness that I read about this Officer and his partner. These are very couragous men who died doing what only a choosen select could do and they did it with out reguard for themselves and in the act of helping others. They are truely heros. Rest now my brothers you served with honor, we will take it from here. My heart and prayers go out to your family and your department.

"A Part Of America Died,"
Somebody killed a policeman today,
And part of America died.
A piece of our country he swore to protect,
Will be buried with him at his side.
The suspect that shot him will stand up in court,
With counsel demanding his rights.
While a young widowed mother must work for her kids,
And spend many long lonely nights.
The beat he walked was a battle field too
just as if he had gone off to war.
Though the flag of our nation won't fly at half mast,
To his name they will add a gold star.
Yes, somebody killed a policeman today,
In your town or mine,
While we slept in comfort behind locked doors,
A cop put his life on the line.
Now his ghost walks a beat on a dark city street,
And stands at each new rookies' side.
He answered the call,of himself and gave his all,
And a part of America died.

WE HOPE THESE SIMPLE WORDS CAN HELP YOU LATER ON.
