Reflections for Patrolman Benjamin "BJ" Wilcher, Jr.

We never knew Mr. Wilcher, however being Midwest neighbors heard the report on the Chicago news. I am deeply touched by the committment your officer had and the legacy he has already left behind. Our prayers and thoughts are with you and your young family. Hold onto the good memories and cherish those children. They, along with your faith, and fellow officers will help you thru this time of uncertainty.

Officer Benjamin Wilcher may God extend his invitation to you to finally come home. The Roll Call has been completed and you have not answer. at this point in time you are released from your Tour of Duty and may you have eternal peace watching over all Police, FIRE, and EMS from this point on. I want to thank you for being one of the only officers that would pull up to a Prompt ambulance just to talk while we are sitting in your area. You will not be forgotten but truly missed.

To the family may god bless you in this time and help you through it. It was a pleasure to have known your son, brother, husband and father.
