Family, Loved Ones, Fellow Officers,
My thoughts and prayers are with you today and for days following. I know how hard these days will be for you. But time will pass and the days will be easier to face. God will stand with you through each one.
Officer Wilcher gave his life serving and protecting others with valor. His sons will know what a hero he was some day.
I am so sorry for your loss.

Dear Family, Friends and Co-Workers,
Our family prays for your comfort in the days ahead. No one can take this confusion and pain away, but there is comfort in your faith that God has already taken Officer Wilcher by the hand and pulled him into an enternal home that far exceeds anything we can image. When you can read Don Pipers "90 Minutes in Heaven". This book was such a great help to me when I had to say good-bye to my son.
The willingness to serve and the actual act of serving is what sets peace officers apart, makes them heros everyday.
God's promises for an eternal life with him are real, written in the pages of the Bible that is our book of knowledge. Knowing that Jesus went to prepare a place for us, that where he is we will also be forever brings me comfort. For a time, we are parted, but we shall one day be re-joined forever.
God's love be with you now and forever,
Cathy C. Carter

The day this hero was called home, my husband and I were alongside his beautiful family.
We are humbled and honored to have been surrounded by the love and strength of these amazing individuals.
My heart goes out to each and every one of them, as well as to all of his brothers and sisters on the force.
I pray for all hearts broken to find peace and comfort.
I will always remember the sacrifice and forever honor his memory.
