Yet another officer lays down his life rather than swerve from the path of duty. These are not just phrases from the CHP's motto, but a lifestyle for men like officer Russell. It saddens my heart to have to read about such a fine man being taken away from us. May the Lord watch over his family and comfort them during these times. I thank the lord every night that such men as Officer Russell live in this world. Thank You for serving us citizens of the State of California.
