It's so sad that things like this have to happen to people/officer like yourself. We were just in your area this last weekend for a Memorial Run for the Sacramento Law Enforcement Memorial Run. The Run ended at the Pacerville Fair Grounds. It was very moving to see so many Police Officers again. It brought back memories!
Thank you Officer Russell for a job well done. You are in a better place where there is nothing but peace. Watch over your family and remember that you will be missed but yet not forgotten. Thank you for your dedication and pride and commitment. GOD BLESS YOU and REST IN PEACE.....

This act of horrible violence is indicative of why our society should be thankful for the sacrfices of all of the officers named on these pages every year. God rest the soul of Officer Russell and all of our comrades who have succombed to the rigors of being a protector to the innocent.
