George,
The beginning of that day, we had the two helicopters that crashed and towards the end of the night, to hear that radio call, My heart skipped a beat. I was far away northeast of the valley wishing i could be there. I couldn't believe that we can have so many tragedies in one day.
George,I had the honor to serve with you during the academy days and you made it fun when times were difficult. I remembered during our breaks in the beginnig of the academy when we talk about our age, you being 21 and I, 22. We knew going into this profession about the danger and how we would risk our lives on a daily basis. but i didn't expect it to be so soon and you to be taken away from us and your family at such a young age.
today, i'm going to continue to wear that badge, to honor you and to those who gave their lives. My brother, I know you will be watching over us and I'll see you again. My condolences to your family.
