grateful for his service, saddened by his sacrifice and the
sacrifice of his family. May strength and comfort come to
his family, and his fellow officers. May justice be swift

This city is grief stricken. On a day when we had a horrific helicopter crash that took the lives of four people, we also lost one of our heroes. What we always find out in these difficult times is that we live in one of the best communities and we will open our hearts and show support and love for the loved ones of Officer Cortez during this time of great loss.
