Your heroism and service is honored today, the 96th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

It appears that there was a travesty of justice in this case that led to your murderer evading justice in this world, but ultimately he answered to God.

Rest In Peace

Deputy Sheriff Ledwith,
It has taken almost 94 years, but you are finally being honored. I would like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for the citizens of Anderson County. I think it was a travesty of justice that your murderer was acquitted, but hopefully he received the justice that he deserved from the Ultimate Judge.
