Another tragic incident and another life cut short too soon. Your murders will face their judgement day not only here, but also in the after life and what they did will never be forgiven. Thank you brother for your service to your city as well as your country. You will not be forgotten. Rest in Peace.

After seeing this story on the news, I'd hoped and prayed Officer Timoshenko wouldn't be added to the ODMP rolls. It was a shock to me when I opened up the page and saw his name pop up.

My deepest sypmpathies to his family, loved ones and brother/sister officers. The loss will be hard and this brotherhood has suffered so much in this Millenium. Your love and support for each other will get you through.

God Bless and keep moving forward.

Though PO Timoshenko did not have much time on the job, he was the kind of police officer we all aspire to be: dedicated, brave, professional, and compassionate. He is sorely missed.

His partner and loved ones are in my prayers.

What a tragic loss. May God bless those who loved and knew Off. Timoshenko the best. I am sure he was a fine officer. May justice be sought against those who were involved in his homicide.

I never met Officer Timoshenko, bu tin my eyes he is a hero. He took the job when the pay was in the dumps. From what i heard, his friends begged him to do something else, something where he would make more money. But he didnt care about the pay, he just wanted to be part of the NYPD. He was a part of the NYPD, he lived his dream. He will forever be a part of the NYPD and he will live on in the hearts of all of us. He took the job when there was nothing to gain, and he gave his life for what he loved. RIP Russel Timoshenko. You will not EVER be forgotten!!!!!!!!!!
