YESTERDAY IS HISTORY, TOMORROW IS A MYSTERY AND TODAY IS A GIFT.

OFFICER TIMOSHENKO, YOU REST IN PEACE MY FRIEND. I SALUTE YOU! MY PRAYERS ARE WITH YOU, YOUR FAMILY, FRIENDS AND COLLEAGUES. I THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE. YOU DID NOT LOSE YOUR LIFE, YOU GAVE IT IN SERVICE TO OTHERS. A TRUE HERO INDEED.

THOSE CLOSE TO THIS HERO, PLEASE TAKE COMFORT IN KNOWING THAT I, ALONG WITH MANY OTHERS ACROSS THIS LAND, GRIEVE WITH YOU. KEEP HIM IN YOUR HEART, AND PASS HIS STORY ALONG. MAY GOD BLESS YOU.

I HAVE FOLLOWED THIS CASE FROM THE VERY BEGINNING. DUE TO GOOD OLD FASHIONED POLICE WORK BY THE NYPD, THESE COWARDS ARE IN CUSTODY. THEY ARE ARGUING AMONGST THEMSELVES AS TO WHO WAS THE DRIVER OF THE VEHICLE AND WHO DIDN'T SHOOT. ALL THREE ARE GUILTY OF THIS BRUTAL, UNPROVOKED MURDER. THANK YOU TO THE NYPD, PENNSYLVANIA STATE POLICE, U.S. MARSHALLS SERVICE AND ALL OTHER AGENCIES THAT ASSISTED IN THE CAPTURE OF THE TWO RUNAWAY COWARDS. MAY SWIFT JUSTICE PREVAIL.

MY PRAYERS GO OUT TO OFFICER YAN FOR A SPEEDY EMOTIONAL RECOVERY, AS WELL AS RECOVERY FROM HIS WOUNDS. THE VIDEO OF THIS INCIDENT SHOWS HIS PROFESSIONALISM, FOLLOWING TO THE LETTER HIS SUPERIOR TRAINING. GOD BLESS YOU OFFICER YAN.

OFFICER TIMOSHENKO, NEVER FORGOTTEN.

To the parents of this young officer may your hearts be filled with warmth in this difficult time. Your son was taken from us in a cowardly way and he will always be remembered for his service to the community and bravery. He is not a hero because he was taken from us, he is a hero for the job he did when he was alive. He is a hero for the protection he provided so that his beat could sleep at night. Now, may he rest in peace and watch over all his brothers as they continue where he left off.

To the PD, my thoughts and prayers are with you all during this time. It never gets easier losing one of your own.

And to Russel, thank you for your service. Thank you. And brother, rest in peace knowing that the police community will take care of your family and loved ones.
