I didn't know you, but it is always sad to see an Officer go, especially one in their prime, but I guess God needed another blue angel on his force.

To your parents: Russel lived a life of honor, duty, and service just by being a police officer. I can't even begin to know your pain, but I send my deepest sympathies to your family, and my thoughts are with you at this difficult time.
