May God bless you and your family during this tragic time. A little piece of this city died with you Officer Timoshenko. The bravery and valor you displayed on that street in brooklyn is exemplary. Despite all the negativity associated with this job and this department, thank you for reminding why i become a cop. As sad as i am right now, I feel an amazing sense of pride that i get to wear the same uniform as men like you. Rest in Peace Brother.

Officer Timoshenko:
I didn't know you, but it is always sad to see an Officer go, especially one in their prime, but I guess God needed another blue angel on his force.
To your parents: Russel lived a life of honor, duty, and service just by being a police officer. I can't even begin to know your pain, but I send my deepest sympathies to your family, and my thoughts are with you at this difficult time.

I AM A WARRIOR
by Jon F. Hooper
I fight not for glory or fame,
For they are momentary.
I fight for those who can't.
I fight for Justice.
I fight for the oppressed and the down trodden.
And if I should lose my life for these just causes, then I have no regrets,
For I serve to protect the innocent.
It matters not where or when,
For evil knows no boundaries.
Be it fire, flood, or the threat of tyranny,
I will not flee.
Justice is my weapon.
Faith is my shield.
Hope is my armor.
Cry not at my passing,
For it was my Honor to fight for you.
Shed not tears of sorrow,
But tears of joy,
For now,
I stand with God.

Russ,
It sickens me that there are people out there that commit these types of violent crimes. There is only comfort that the thugs will rot in hell for their actions. Rest in peace brother.
