Such a tragedy, and such a waste of a young life. Yet another fine officer falls foul of a low life bum.
My heart goes out to Officer Kozminski's little girl, and parents. I will say a prayer for you.
God bless Bobby, rest easy bro.

My heart just sank when I read about this brave young Officer Kozminski being killed in the line of duty. This is happening too many times across our Country. I live in NYS where there has been 14 Law Enforcement Officers killed within the past 18 months while performing their duties. NYS still has not passed the Death Penalty for the criminals that take the lives of our Law Enforcement Officers. I just wanted the family and loved ones of Officer Kozminski to know there is someone in New York State that shares your grief even though I was never fortunate enough to meet and know Officer Kozminski. May the Good Lord watch over the Kozminski family and give them the strength to carry on Bobby's memory.

Koz,
I will miss you. I will miss seeing you at the football games and talking about how the local high school and college teams are doing. Although I haven't seen you much since I left night shift, I will always remember your warm greeting and smile when we were getting ready for our shift. You will always be a great cop and a great man in my mind and heart. I will look forward to seeing you when I get there brother.
