Bobby,

We have all experienced a range of emotions over the past few days, as I am sure we will continue to in the future. The pain, sorrow, and the anger may lessen, but one emotion will always remain...how proud we are to say that you are our brother. We will carry you in our hearts until we meet face to face in heaven.

Lord, carry Bobby's parents, daughter, siblings, family, friends, and his brothers and sisters of GRPD through this trying time. And we pray, Lord, that none of us may ever feel this pain and heartache again.

Rest in Peace, Offcier Kozminski, and may God bless your soul.

Dear Kozminski Family:

My family & I wish to express our sincere condolences to you. Due to the recent loss of my brother, Officer Frank Denzinger, in Floyd County, Indiana, we feel the extreme pain & loss that you are going through at this time. It is difficult to see so many officers laying their lives on the line & paying the ultimate sacrifice for what they so firmly believe in. For Frank, there was no other option as far as occupations. From day one he dreamed of becoming a police officer. It was in his blood & it was what he thought about every minute of the day until that dream came true. Believe me, we tried & tried to change his mind of his career path, but he wouldn't hear of it. Being a police officer & serving the community was what he wanted to do with his life. Unfortunately, his greatest joy in life became his ultimate sacrifice, as it did for Bobby. Know that his sacrifice was made out of a true love of his profession. Bobby will always be a hero: to us, the community, his fellow officers & those who loved him most. We hope that God will guide you during this time of sadness & keep you wrapped in his love. Hopefully someday, the sacrifice our loved ones made will bring their daughters comfort & pride.

You are constantly in our prayers,

Romans Chapter 13
4 for he is a minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is a minister of God, an avenger for wrath to him that doeth evil.
5 Wherefore ye must needs be in subjection, not only because of the wrath, but also for conscience' sake.
6 For this cause ye pay tribute also; for they are ministers of God's service, attending continually upon this very thing.
7 Render to all their dues: tribute to whom tribute is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honor to whom honor.

Thank you for your sacrifice.

Koz, It still seems all so unreal that you are gone. It was an honor to serve with you and it won't be the same without you on A squad. I'm glad we worked North Team 5 and 6 together for 4 years and even though I moved West I still saw you every night. There will be a sadness in my heart for the rest of my career. I will pray for you, your daughter and your family. Rest in peace, we will keep it locked down from here.
