Somebod killed a Policeman today and a part of America died. A piece of our country he swore to protect will be burried at his side. The beat he walked was a batlefield too. Just as if he had gone off to war. Though the flag of our nation won't fly t half mast. The suspect who shot him will stand up in court. With counsel demanding his rights. While a young widowed mother must work for her kids.

My deepest thoughts and prayers go out to the Kozminski family, his daughter, girlfriend, and the entire GRPD. It is tragic to lose someone in the line of duty, doing what they loved. Please know that his memory will remain alive in those whose lives he touched, and others, like myself, who can relate to the pain being felt. My prayers for strength and peace go out to Officer Kozminski's family and friends.

Thank God for the men and women who risk their lives day in and day out so that we may live and enjoy time with our family more peacefully in our neighborhoods. It is these men and women who are there when we are in desperate need for protection. It is these men and women who show up when we call 911. At a time like this I find myself struck with one thought? Why the heck didn't I stay more in touch with that guy? I think Koz and I played basketball on our lunch hour every day for years back in HS. He was one of the nicest guys I knew. Nobody ever had a bad word to say about him.

Kailey, your daddy was an awesome guy. He had the best laugh you can imagine. Of course, you know this, but I'll be remembering it with you 'kay? God bless you sweetheart

I wanted to express my sincere condolence to the family of Officer Kozminski, even though I didnt know him, but I wanted the family to know that our heart pours out for his family. I wanted to address to the parents of Officer Kozminski, I can't even imagine the pain as parent you both are feeling, being a parent myself, I couldnt not stand by and not say anything. I just wanted to express to you that it was very hurtful to hear that this officer was shot in the line of duty. Its difficult to even type what I'm feeling right now...but at this point I will say...Keep GOD in your hearts and mind...He will see that just will be done.
