Bob, we miss you so much. Continue to watch over Mandie, and send those Monarchs for as long as you can. They bring a smile to our faces evrytime we see one.

I only recently heard of the terrible tragedy that occurred. I never knew Ofc Kozminski but he was a hero in the truest sense of the word. I come to your great state often and pass by your city during my travels. I will now think of the sacrifice this officer made everytime I pass the exit to Grand Rapids. To the members of the Grand Rapids Police Department, know that we at my department are grieving with you during this difficult time. To the family and friends of Ofc Kozminski, know the he is in heaven with our Lord and is watching over you all. I will dedicate my next shift to Ofc Kozminski and strive to be as great an officer as he was. God Bless

Koz,
I was watching Kailey the other night and these days she has a hard time falling asleep. I aked her how her daddy got her to go to sleep. she told me that you used to rub the back of her neck in little circles. she showed me exactly how to do this (just the way daddy did) and within 2 minutes she was sleeping like a little angel. As she drifted off to sleep she was holding one of your Michigan shirts and she looked so peaceful. So many of us are watching over her and keeping your memory alive inside her heart. Kailey is still comforted by the little things she and her daddy shared. We all miss you Koz and think about you daily.

Koz-

I saw Kailey while she was at the PD last night. She is such a sweet little girl. It still breaks my heart to look at her and know that she will not have her daddy with her as she grows up. We gave her a GRPD uniform shirt and told her that her daddy has one of those too. She was very happy to have it and said "look, its fits perfect" even though the shirt was taller than she is. It was the most precious sight to see her wearing that shirt with a class A hat and watching her salute herself in the mirror. Kailey has become the department's daughter. We are all taking care of her and it is an honor to remind her everytime we see her that her daddy is a hero. You are not forgotten my brother and never will be. Please continue to watch out for us as we take care of business down here. Rest in peace.

Bob, I didn't know you, but I appreciate all that you did in the name of keeping citizens safe from harm. Your service to your community is one of the most noble of all, and your sacrifice the greatest. Thank-you and God Bless you.

As a Polish citizen and a future police officer living in Poland, I wish to express my utmost respect and honor a person- of apparently Polish origin- who devoted his precious life in the name of justice and public security- Robert Kozminski. I am shocked at the evil of that crime perpetrator, and I hope that when Our Lord is back he will do away with all such tragedies and wipe every tear of your daughter's little face....

You are always in our hearts and on our minds. Your sacrifice will never be forgotten nor will the memory of you. It's been two months since you were taken from your family and friends so tragically, however the support and kindness seen in the wake of your death has been tremendous.

Please continue to keep watch over Kailey, your family, and your brothers and sisters in blue. While I didn't know you well in life, I continue to learn more about you and the legacy you have left behind. You will never be forgotten.

Im originally from Michigan, I have a sister that lives in G.R. she told me about your sacrifice. We have had a hard few years in the SFPD, including my Sgt., who we lost 2yrs ago. I pray for your family and friends you have left behind. Your brother in blue.
