Reflections for Police Officer Robert Anthony Kozminski
Koz, justice has been served, the jury took less than two hours to come back with a guilty verdict. My thoughts and prayers go out to you, your family, and all your brothers and sisters in blue. You would have been proud of them all, Koz, they all showed a tremendous amount of courage this past week. You will never be forgotten. Please keep a watch over all of your brothers and sisters.......keep them as safe as you can. You can rest in peace now Bob.

The jury came back today with a guilty verdict...A day of such mixed emotions. Although this verdict will never bring you back I pray that it brings your mom and dad, brothers and sisters, Kailey, and Trigg peace in the memories they have of you. They have been so strong in spite of their unimaginable pain.
GRPD will carry on your memory forever. A piece of all of us died with you. God Bless you brother, I think of you and your family every day now and forever. I pray that you can now rest in peace.

The trial is ongoing now Bobby, of the man who took your life. I never knew you or your family, but I cry when I think of you. I know we all have to forgive this man, but that is so hard to do. I feel like I knew you and your family because a very good friend of mine is a coworker of your mom. My heart goes out to the Kozminski family, all of you. How I wish this never happened.
I pray that some good will come out of this tragedy. That the Phoenix will rise out of the ashes. I still have a lot of respect for officers everywhere.......because of you Bobby and your great sacrifice.
I won't say rest in peace, because in Heaven there is much rejoicing for being with our Lord, so, I will say rejoice in Him and enjoy the reward you so deserve.

Now that trial is starting it is like losing you all over again. I can only hope that your family can find a small amount of peace in knowing that your fellow officers honor and remember your life everyday by continuing the job you started. Your sacrafice is a reminder that each goodbye may be the last and they should never be taken for granted. Your daughter will be so proud of the legacy you have left for her. Your family is in our thoughts and prayers, may you rest in peace.

Dear Mr. and Mrs. Kozminski, I just wanted send my sympathy to you. My Fiance Stacy Williams had met you both at a meeting at Grand Rapids PD (for MICOPS) today. I have spoke to her today and I did tell her to send my regards and prayers to you and your family and your Grand Daughter. For me being a Officer, I know the pain your family has suffered and endured. I have lost my close friends who were Officers. I send my prayers to you and God Bless you all. Take care Ofc.
