Koz,

You truly are not forgotten friend. I am proud and honored to say I knew you. And it is quite obvious that so many people in this world feel the same way. It has been a year and so many people I don't even know continue to talk about you and what you did. I'd follow you anywhere brother.

U of M football starts tomorrow. How bout you shoot that young team a bit of a helping hand this year pal. I know you're watching. I'm still so proud of you. Just know things are good here, but will never be the same without you.

Can't wait to see ya on the day that I come home...

Love and pray for you always

I try my best not to be judgmental, wishing that he lives a long life in prison, and that each night, he awakens in a cold sweat from a nightmare, while holding his $5000.00 shotgun......

It has been a year since you were taken from us and in some ways it seems like yesterday, but at the same time it has been a long year. I will never forget you Bobby and will always be there for your friends and family. Keep watch over all of us and RIP my friend.

It's hard to believe we lost you a year ago now. It feels like yesterday that we made the long, sad trip to Grand Rapids to join our Brothers and Sisters from GRPD in paying tribute to you. We won't forget you Brother....ever. Keep watch over us from above while we continue the good fight.

Dear Officer Kozminski and Family,

I did not know you but THANK YOU for your service in the community. I have several family members outside of Michigan who are officers and friend's family members as well. As the community reflects today on the one year anniversary, I am so thankful for all that is done to protect our community. God Bless you for all that you did and may you be watching over us.

God Bless....

On the 1st anniversary of Officer Kozminski's death, we honored his service in our patrol briefing by reading his entry from ODMP. Each day, we honor one fallen officer on the anniversary of their death so as to keep them in our thoughts, and also to remind us of the dangers inherent in our job. Officer Kozminski is not forgotten.

A year ago today we all awoke to find that a true hero was born. Our sadness and our tears have slowed but are not far from the surface. You lost your life at the hands of a murderer but your sacrifice lives on in each and every one of us.

We miss you each and every day and although I didn't know you well in life, I've learned so much about you in death. The sacrifice that you made will never be forgotten nor will that fateful July 8th when you laid down your life to save a family.

Peace to you Koz and to your family and friends left behind. You are a true hero!! We will never forget.

Bobby,

So many people think of you and remember you every day. I can't believe it has been a year - in some ways it feels like yesterday and in other ways it feels like a lifetime. Your death has touched a lot of lives - lives of people I love including my family and many of my friends. You will never be forgotten.

Tommorow will be a year since you were taken from us. "A" squad is still not the same and probably never will be. I think about you every time I go to work. We will be off this July 8th but our rotation will never forget, and pray that yours is the last name to be put on the memorial.

Peace. W58 GRPD

It's almost been a year since your life was taken. I thank god every day for giving me the opportunity to put on the uniform and protect the streets of West Michigan. We again thank you for your service to the community and the night you saved lives while putting yours on the line. R.I.P. my fellow brother.

I remember last year on the 4th of July. I tossed you and Trigg a water in the motor pool when we went 42. I wish I would have known that was the last time I would see you. God bless you brother. We continue your watch in your honor, every shift. Please watch over all of us and keep us safe. I can't believe it has been a year. Still feels like just yesterday that you were taken from us.

Bobby, I love you and miss you dearly. It's almost been a year without you and I can't belive it. Each day adds more heartache and sadness. I try to think of the good times we had and growing up together. Kailey is such a sweetheart and you would still be proud of her. She is her fathers little girl and will always be that way. We will never forget you, you are always and forever my Hero.
