Wes, we met at Auto-Ped Recon a couple of months ago.....and I will forever forget your character. You rode in on your KZ-got done with class that day, then went out and made some "friends." The world is a better place because of you.....your family, friends, and members of Plano PD-you've lost a fine officer, and above everything else, a gentleman. I'll miss you Wes. Until we meet again......Goodnight my Brother.

My deepest thoughts and prayers are with Officer Hardy's wife, children, family, friends and co-workers. I was married to Alabama State Trooper Brian Nichols EOW 2/17/2002 and I am now married to Washington County Deputy Sheriff Aaron Carpenter. All of your COPS family is here for you and hurting for you. We all became a family when our loved ones became police officers and now we have even a stronger bond when one of our family members go down. We are here for you to help you along this journey you now have joined with us. God bless you all.

I know of no words that will suffice. No words that are adequate. I would like for the family, friends and co-workers of Officer Wes Hardy to know there are folks all across this nation that will lift you up in prayer before the Almighty.
As a retired motor officer I know the dedication of a motor officer. The kinship between fellow motor jockeys is something very special.
May you each experience the eternal love and endless blessings of our Lord and Savior in the coming days.

I want the family to know that we all are praying for them now. We all appreciate as an officer working to take care of all of us. It takes rare people to have that dedication and love, so I wanted them to know that we all lost in this situation. God Bless them and fellow officers and please let me or Tamara know if there is any way we can be of service to this family.

Mrs. Hardy,
My heart felt condolances go out to you and your two lovely girls. I just saw your husbands memorial page on the Plano PD website. I am a police officer here in the metroplex and your pain that you are feeling right now is something that we have been feeling way to much lately. My daugther and I will be praying for you and your girls thru this trying time and for years to come.
