Hey kiddo, been some time, but not a day goes by you are not in my thoughts. Will always wonder what life in our family would have been like if you had not been called by God that day.

RIH just met your dad and he told me about your tour and that it was ended in 2007 just know your dad has a TATTOO over his heart and it’s your badge so you’re with your dad every day being his guardian angel but I will say he’s in good spirits

I just watched the Rookies episode dedicated to your memory. My thoughts and prayers are with your family and fellow sheriff deputies, even though it's been 15 years. They are still missing you. Thank you Deputy for your service and sacrifice.

I’m a rookie Officer and was shot in the line of duty in my last week of FTO.

Still now recovering from the incident and just finished watching the “Rookies” police show episode about Officer Norris.

The stories of our fallen brothers and sisters breaks my heart and reminds me everyday how thankful I am to be alive and still able to do the job I love once I fully recover.

Rest In Peace to all of our fallen brothers and sisters. God bless their families, all of law enforcement and the communities we love and serve.

Hi Josh,

Just checking in with you again. Our world is still in a crazy state right now. I’m coming up on 11 years with my department in June. I can’t believe it’s been that long since your rookies show originally aired. My heart still goes out to your family; I hope they have found some peace. Rest In Peace my brother. You have not been forgotten.

10 years ago I got to spend your last Christmas with us... it was a much happier time without knowing it was our last one together. Every Christmas since has been so hard with you not here. I miss your laughter, your smile, your smell, your hugs, your love...I MISS YOU.!
If I could build a stairway to Heaven, I would. Just so I could have it all back...even for a little while.
I wish you were still here with us in the flesh, but I know you are in spirit. I love you with every breath I take and miss you with every heartbeat. Until we can be reunited...
Forever in my dreams...
Love, Mom

It is a sad day when young men are raised with no values to prevent them from killing an inocent man who was, just doing what he was created to do serve and protect. As soon as all of us do the things I know he had talked about many times like, a global curriculum, strengthen our military, raise salaries for law enforcement, hard harsh punishment for violence against women and children, raise teachers salaries, give our vets a million dollars, give over 65 a million dollars, follow a plan to clean our oceans, insure animal rights, pay our farmers a premium price to plant a profitable crop, create jobs, allow kids to pray in school and pay them when they graduate, offer the unimployed a opportunity to pray for pay, secure firearms and train all gun owners at an armory for each municipality and provide new firearms, and much more. Thank you officer. We will have to wait for another one of Gods sons to finish your work.

My days are empty without you here... I know you have Duke and friends keeping you company. Keep watch over everyone, but especially your brothers and sisters in blue to stay safe. This world would be a better place with you here. Miss you more than words can say. A new year, a few more tears... Love you, my sweet Josh.

Deputy Sheriff Joshua Norris,

I saw this episode 2 years ago, and I literally when I saw the ending. What made it even more emotional is how hurt your Field Training Officer was at your funeral. He was very tough on you during the On The Job training, but its only because he loved you. God bless your spirit and soul my brother.
