You are our hero! Thank you for your 18 years of service to our community. I had the honor of knowing and working with Jack and Linda for all the years they were the Sheriff and Matron of Miami County. What a wonderful family. Now you are an angel, please watch out over your fellow troopers and deputies and keep them safe as they continue to carry out their duties. I was proud to be a part of the funeral service yesterday and it was an amazing site to see the support from the community. To Trooper Dave's family to the Troopers with District 16 our hearts break with you and you have our prayers to get you through this difficult time. We will never forget.
