Officer Anderson,
As a rookie, who started a little more than one year ago, and having so much to learn, I look up to you and your sacrifice for the great State of Utah and the blessed country we live in.
As I walked into the office this morning, unaware of your passing, I could sense something was horribly wrong. Then when I was asked to shroud my badge my heart sunk to a depth I have never before felt. It was then I learned about the sacrifice you had made. Through the day I watched as others in our department would pass me with tears in their eyes.
Thank you for being one of the watch dogs to keep the sheep safe for so many years.
Gods speed my brother. May the lord bless you, your family, and our department in this time of need. You will not be forgoten.
