It takes great dedication to to serve as a police officer and in many cases the reward you get is the warmth you feel in your heart knowing that you had helped someone in need.
Frank may God bless you for making that ultimate sacrifice in your service to the public and taking a stand for what you believe in.

From reading the reflections left for Officer Denzinger I can see that he was and will continue to be a very loved and respected man. I pray that God will be with each person reading this because I know that you are not here by chance. I never knew about this site until my brother was killed. He also responded to a domestic dispute. That was 2 years ago. To Officer Denzinger's family and friends;
I know there are no words to describe the shock, anger and pain that you are feeling. Please accept my heartfelt condolences and know that you are in the prayers of many people. Remember the good times. Try not to dwell on the way Frank died but smile as you remember how he lived.

I pray that I can carry on the legacy in the same manner you have. I cannot comprehend the pain your family must feel, but I share the pain of your extended family, the Brotherhood. Thank you for your sacrifice, may God bless and keep you. We shall carry on, and we shall prevail. Rest easy, Brother, your watch is done. It's our turn.

"Policeman's Prayer"
When I start my tour of duty God,
Wherever crime may be,
as I walk the darkened streets alone,
Let me be close to thee.
Please give me understanding with both the young and old.
Let me listen with attention until their story's told.
Let me never make a judgment in a rash or callous way,
but let me hold my patience let each man have his say.
Lord if some dark and dreary night,
I must give my life,
Lord, with your everlasting love
protect my children and my wife.

Thought and prayer for the wife and child and family of Officer Frank Denzinger. He gave his life so others could live in peace. I've been an Officer with the Vigo County Sheriff Department for 28 years, and know it takes a great person to be a Law Enforcement person, and love the community. We lost one Officer in 1987, and I still remember that night light it was today. So may our prayers be with everyone, especially the family today tomorrow, and forever.

As a former Floyd County Police officer I can only assure everyone that we have lost a great friend and Officer. Frank was an example to us all and I can only say I personally have lost a very important part of my life. I can only say I hope to live up to the example Frank set for us all as a Friend, Father, husband and Officer.
I will never forget the friendship you gave to me and my family.
GOD BLESS

Rest in peace brother, I think of how sad your family must be and how no words of mine could ever come close to helping to console them. I know that nothing can change this tragic ending to a father, husband, and honorable law man. I hope that in time your daughter understand and always know that her father died as a true HERO in every essence of the word.

May you be with GOD and may we all see you again some day.
