Leave a Reflection

Reflections for Deputy Kelly James Fredinburg

"DON'T GRIEVE FOR ME"
Don't grieve for me, for now I'm free
I'm following the path god laid for me.
I took his hand when I heard him call,
I turn my back and left it all.
I could not stay another day
To laugh, to love, to work or play.
Task left undone must stay that way,
I found that peace at the close of the day.
If my parting has left a void,
Than fill it with remembered joy.
A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss
Ah yes, these things I, too, will miss.
Be not burdened with times of sorrow
I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow,
My life's been full, I savored much,
Good friends, good times, a loved one's touch.
Perhaps my time seemed all too brief
Don't lengthen it now with undue grief.
Lift up your heart and share with me,
God wanted me now, He set me free.
Hopefully these meager words can help all that knew Deputy Fredinburg to get through the dark times that are ahead. Words just doesn't seem enough when we lose a loved ones. But this memorial is hear to help you and you will find so many that didn't even know this Deputy.
GOD BLESS YOU ALL

This day is the one year anniversary of my fathers death. I Know and still feel the pain from losing him. Some people may say that the pain will fade with time, from experience I need to say there wrong. Everytime I do or say something, I remember what my father would say or do. It hurts the most when you can never find closure, with your husband or dad, and my father. All I can say is that when it gets tough and you feel like you cant survive without him, remember to hold on, because your husband/father wouldn't want you to punish yourself. The last day of school I went home, my dad was there smiling and laughing, telling me that you made it, your whole life is right in front of you. A week before my graduation he died. I went to the graduation ceremony, depressed crying sad, when I got there all of my graduating class had black armbands on their wrists, most with tears in their eyes. I started balling my eyes out, along with most with my family, they all came to the funeral. The point is to never underestimate the power of your friends/family ability to help you with moving along with your life. I wish I could take away your pain, like I wish I could take away my own pain.
I know that it might not help but, I'll hope and pray for your peace of mind and body through the rough times now and ahead.

Very sincerly, Jon finney
