You now have a better view of YOUR TOWN. God bless you and those you leave behind. In a small town in Northwest Indiana that I was once the Chief. There was a hill on the outskirts of town. I use to set atop that hill and watch every severe storm that would approach. I could see my entire town from that hill and would often think that there is only one other place i could be where i could watch over MY TOWN and protect my brothers and sisters in MY TOWN, Brother Randy, you are in that place, Your view just got better, and YOUR TOWN is now a much bigger place. Rest in Peace.

Dear Family, fellow LEOs, and citizens fo Clay City,
I am so sorry for your loss. My heart drops everytime I learn of another law enforcement death, but my heart rejoices when a day passes without such a loss as this. Thank God for people like Chief Lacy. May he rest in peace.

To the family, friends, and officers that knew Chief Lacy, my thoughts and prayers are with you as you face the trying times ahead of you. Please know your not alone.
Here I am, lost in the light of the moon that comes through my window
Bathed in blue, the walls of my memory divide the thorns from the roses
It's you and the roses
Touch me and I will follow in your afterglow
Heal me from all this sorrow
As I let you go I will find my way when I see your eyes
Now I'm living in your afterglow
Here I am, lost in the ashes of time, but who wants tomorrow?
In between the longing to hold you again
I'm caught in your shadow, I'm losing control
My mind drifts away, we only have today
Touch me and I will follow in your afterglow
Heal me from all this sorrow
As I let you go I will find my way
I will sacrifice 'til the blinding day when I see your eyes
Now I'm living in your afterglow
When the veils are gone as I let you go, as I let you go
Touch me and I will follow in your afterglow
Heal me from all this sorrow
As I let you go I will find my way, I will sacrifice
Now I'm living in your afterglow
Bathed in blue, the walls of my memory divide the thorns from the roses
It's you who is closest
