On today, the 110th anniversary of your death I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for the citizens of Weeping Water. And to your Family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.

Marshal Charles A. Ralston was my great grandfather. Sadly, I never met him, nor his son, Major Orville Alfred Ralston (my grandfather), who fought for our country in WWI and WWII. Marshal Ralston would have made been proud of his son.

I am grateful to ODMP and those who left reflections for honoring my great grandfather's service to his community. Thank you so much for your thoughts.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 103ed anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
