"For I already being poured out like a drink offering, and the time has come for my depature. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteuos judge, will award to me on that day, and not only to me, but also to all that have longed for his appearing."

I learned of Ty's death through a Fellowship of Christian Peace Officer's (Canada)bulletin today.

I didn't know Ty but as a fellow peace officer, I feel the loss when any officer loses their life in the service of their community.

May God grant his peace on Ty's grieving family at this terrible time.

To the family of Game Warden Teyran Patterson: I am very sorry for your loss.

It's difficult when someone who is loved cannot be there, but memories that are made and shared will keep a loved one near. And God, with loving wisdom, will be there to guide us through; He'll help us meet tomorrow and He'll give us strength anew.

I will keep your family in my thoughts and prayers for the days and weeks to come.

Verily, verily I say unto you, except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die it bringeth forth much fruit. He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto eternal life. As the Father hath loved me, so I have loved you: continue ye in my love. This is my commandment, that ye love one another, as I have loved you. Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. John chapter 12 verses 24, 25 chapter 15 verses 9, 12, 13

As a parent of three daughers and a brand new granddaughter, I cannot imagine enduring the anguish of the personal loss of a child without the peace of God that he promises. Praise God that your precious child, KNOWS the Lord and is with him. May you rest in that comfort.
To be blessed by God with a child, willing to sacrifice his own life for another is a crowning moment to you as parents, we as Americans and most importantly all your son's fellow brothers and sisters in Christ.

May the peace of the Lord be with you in these times, rest in his arms and keep deep in your heart His promises to us.

Caleb Williams is one of the finest, most dedicated young Christian men that God has blessed us with.
He has expressed the love he shared for your son and how your son blessed his life.

We will lift you high in prayer for peace.

Ty was one of the best men I have come to know in my life. We went to school together and he was always a giver never a taker. He gave everything his all and touched everyone he came across. His smile was a warm one and not one to be forgotten. I will always remember the laughs we had in our classes. As for Ty's family, I will keep them in my prayers. Ty will never be forgotten...his memory will live on forever. He is the true definition of a "HERO"
