Ty was a great friend and a kind person. He excelled at his job and exhibited all of the qualities of a professional peace officer. I miss working out with him, laughing, and patrolling the county with him. Ty serves as a shining example of what each peace officer should be both in and out of uniform. His great family helped instill those qualities in him. I'm proud to have known Game Warden Ty Patterson and more importantly, to have had the privilege of calling him my friend.

I am a young student that lives in Flower Mound Texas. I knew Ty only for a short time because he died only a day after I met him. He died while trying to save my cousin (she was the one who drowned) and my dad and I were helping search for her. This Warden gave his life to try and search for a missing person. I felt the least I could do was recognize this mans efforts and pay my apologies to the family. Rest In Peace

I knew Ty for only a short time, he was the Game Warden where my sister lived and worked in Rio Vista. Ty was a great guy always happy and with a smile on his face. The loss of him leaves a hole in this world that will never be filled.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the second anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered.
Rest In Peace.

Well Ty, it has been a year now. You are still thought of all the time on shift. I was down on the border the other day and met up with a Game Warden that gave me some meat from a dinner to honor you. He did not know you and I was glad to be able to let him know how great you are. Well, you are missed brother and I will see you on the other side.
